Kopyn was founded by Kaimy Chappell, CHC, CCEP, who brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare compliance and ethics to the platform — developing compliance frameworks, leading investigations, and advising executive leadership on regulatory risk across federal, state, and accreditation standards.
Kaimy holds the CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance) and CCEP (Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) credentials, and built Kopyn around the same standards she held her own compliance programs to: practical, audit-ready tools built for how compliance teams actually work.
